How to get here?

Once your pottery is done, it will take up to 3 weeks through the firing process before it is ready to be collected/ delivered!

You can collect your pottery within 1 month of the collection day.

Basic Wheel throwing + Hand-Building (Private group)

In this session you’ll be learning the basic wheel throwing techniques , and hand-building techniques

With unlimited clay, you can choose your best 2 pieces to be glaze and fired

You will learn the process of pottery making in 2 hours and 30 minuites to paint your pottery with colored clay paint

Our studio has 2 wheels.

If you’re coming more than 2 people, you’ll be taking turns to use the wheel and learning hand-building :)

Different ways to coloring our pottery

Customer’s Works :)

Slip is a liquid mixture of clay and water. It can be applied to the surface of pottery either by brushing, pouring, or dipping without needing to be fired first

Underglaze is a type of colored decoration applied to bisque-fired pottery before the final glaze firing. It is made of a mixture of clay, minerals, and pigments.

Often used for intricate detailing or designs on pottery

Glazing and Under glaze

Pottery decorative techniques that can be done after the first firing (takes up to 3 weeks)

Glazing involves applying a layer of glaze (a mixture of minerals, clay, and other materials) to pottery before firing it in a kiln. The glaze creates a protective and often decorative coating on the surface of the ceramic piece.

You’ll be getting unlimited clay to practice using wheel on your own from the techniques you have learned or the hand-building

Natural Occurrence: The process of pottery firing involves subjecting clay to extremely high temperatures, and it's a natural occurrence for some pieces to experience stress and potential breakage due to the expansion and contraction of clay during firing.

Learning Opportunity: We encourage you to view any breakage as a valuable learning opportunity. It's an integral part of the pottery-making process, and even experienced potters occasionally face breakage. Learning how to handle these situations is an essential aspect of developing your skills.

Creative Exploration: Pottery is a creative endeavor, and sometimes the unexpected outcomes that arise from the kiln firing can lead to unique and artistic results. Embrace the unpredictability of the process and see it as a chance to experiment with different techniques and glazes.
